About the position

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking enthusiastic students for our Strategic Student Program (SSP) for Fall 2024. This program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in various fields such as software development, user experience, data management, technical marketing, global technical customer support, and research & design. As a co-op, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges, helping to shape the future of our innovative software solutions. In this role, you will be part of the Global Customer Acquisition team, where you will champion projects aimed at enhancing our partner recruitment efforts. Your responsibilities will include researching prospective partners, managing data within Salesforce, and developing campaigns to attract new partners across our major product domains. You will collaborate closely with product teams to identify ideal partner profiles and support the execution of marketing campaigns through various channels, including social media. This position not only offers a chance to gain valuable experience but also provides networking opportunities with global leaders and mentorship from senior engineers, fostering your professional development. We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in undergraduate or master's programs, preferably in fields such as Business, Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, International Business, or Strategy. A background in engineering or IT is beneficial but not mandatory. This co-op position is part-time and hybrid, allowing you to work both remotely and from our Milford, OH office. Responsibilities

  • Research prospective partners and scrub data in an existing database.
  • Migrate data into Salesforce.
  • Help build campaigns to attract and recruit new partners for major product domains.
  • Work with product teams to identify ideal partner profiles.
  • Expand recruitment efforts for new partners representing major product families.
  • Develop and execute campaigns via social media.
  • Support country field teams in running campaigns.
  • Build tools to evaluate performance of new partners and sales team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master's student studying Business, preferably Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, International Business, or Strategy.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company.
  • Preferred sophomore or junior status.
  • Comfortable with frequent meetings on the phone.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and communicate solutions and recommendations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide regular status updates.
  • Able to work with a global audience and customer base.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and spirit.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com beneficial.
  • Background in engineering or IT preferred.
