About the position

The Process Design & Optimization Professional at Humana will play a crucial role in analyzing and enhancing the end-to-end Sales processes across all distribution channels within the MarketPoint organization. This position focuses on identifying opportunities for operational improvements that drive productivity and efficiency, utilizing innovative process re-engineering techniques to support strategic development and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with distribution channel leads to observe and learn MarketPoint's end-to-end Sales processes, tools and technology
  • Document and analyze Sales processes across all distribution channels to develop foundational material while identifying channel synergies and outliers
  • Identify areas of improvement and/or gaps in existing processes and provide improvement recommendations to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Analyze metrics and apply measurable outcomes to improve operations, including time studies, AHT, sales performance, and quality
  • Showcase process findings and explore innovative opportunities to optimize with the broader Strategy Advancement team and business partners
  • Deconstruct and analyze challenges and/or bottlenecks in operational flow through live feedback sessions to inform new ways of working
  • Define requirements and gain business consensus to drive decision making for improvement initiatives
  • Maintain updates to process material to support and track future changes driven by Transformation initiatives
  • Support MarketPoint leadership in communicating the value and impact of MarketPoint initiatives to the broader Humana organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years experience with process mapping, workflow documentation, process design or process re-engineering
  • 3+ years experience with business process management with large scale initiatives across people, process, policy and technology

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiar with Six Sigma and/or advanced business process analysis practices
  • Salesforce and/or other CRM technology
  • Contact Center, Omnichannel or Digital experience in a Sales environment
  • Advanced experience utilizing process flow diagram tools, i.e. Visio
  • Ability to summarize and simplify complex data sets or process detail for effective storytelling in presentations
  • Ability to influence peers/stakeholders to influence results or new ways of thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, project/change management, program execution and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
