About the position

The Business Strategy & Operations organization at Google plays a crucial role in providing business-critical insights through analytics, ensuring that cross-functional goals are aligned and executed effectively, and facilitating the advancement of strategic partnerships and new initiatives. This organization is dedicated to aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, while also helping to evolve early-stage ideas into initiatives that drive future growth. As a Strategy and Operations Lead within the Global Sales Activation (GSA) organization, you will engage with business executives and key leaders on critical business projects. This role requires you to operate under uncertainty, structuring complex issues and devising creative solutions to various business challenges. You will be working in a rapidly changing industry, demonstrating problem-solving leadership with minimal oversight, and serving as an expert communicator. Your collaboration will extend to key partners across global product leads, including external and internal systems, product management, engineering, marketing, risk, compliance, legal, and finance. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team is integral to ensuring that Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business operates smoothly. This team is responsible for setting the go-to-market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations in alignment with that strategy. Members of the GtM team are analytical and strategic, possessing a pragmatic approach to getting things done effectively. In this role, you will partner with GSA leadership to manage the GSA business cadence, driving regular business reviews with executive stakeholders. You will also own strategic initiatives on both an ongoing and immediate basis, working collaboratively across the global organization. Identifying opportunities to drive value through change management, process improvements, and operational excellence will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing clear, concise, and compelling communications for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with GSA leadership to run GSA business cadence, driving regular business reviews with executive stakeholders.
  • Own strategic initiatives on both an ongoing and immediate basis, working collaboratively across the global organization.
  • Identify opportunities to drive value through change management, process improvements, and driving operational excellence.
  • Develop clear, concise and compelling communications for business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
