About the position

As the Strategy and Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the organization forward through strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between high-level priorities and day-to-day operations. You will be part of the Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team, which is essential for the smooth functioning of Google's Ads business. This role involves setting go-to-market strategies and ensuring flawless execution and operations across various business areas, requiring analytical and strategic thinking combined with practical execution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop strategies and operational processes to deliver on the execution of Mastery skills based learning initiatives.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and operational inefficiencies in executing the Mastery goal, and build new processes to minimize future issues.
  • Contribute to project scoping and planning and manage project priorities and milestones.
  • Synthesize findings from analysis into actionable insights that power the strategy and the business.
  • Own communicating findings to leadership and key stakeholders with compelling and digestible Executive level presentations that synthesize context, insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Excellent problem solving skills (e.g., expert in Google spreadsheets, SQL).
  • Excellent business judgement and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence executives and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results.
  • Excellent strategy, project management, and problem solving skills, combined with sound business judgment.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or other advanced degree, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
