About the position
The Strategy and Operations Team Lead for Mastery at Google is responsible for leading the holistic assessment strategy and infrastructure for Product and Skills Based Learning. This role involves creating and aligning on assessment roadmaps, defining how assessment data will be utilized in the future, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to develop strategic goals and measurement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the holistic Assessment strategy and infrastructure for Product and Skills Based Learning.
- Create and align on overall assessment roadmaps and project plans.
- Help to clearly define and articulate how Mastery will use assessment data in 2025 and beyond.
- Partner with cross-functional Mastery stakeholders and leaders to develop a Point of View (POV) on short and long term goals, assessment approach, measurement strategy and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Excellent problem solving skills (e.g., expert in Google spreadsheets, SQL).
- Excellent business judgement, leadership skills and ability to communicate with and influence executives and other stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- MBA or other advanced degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and effectively manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
