About the position

The Strategy and Operations Team Lead for Mastery at Google plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective execution of the go-to-market strategy for Google's Ads business. This position involves leading the assessment strategy and infrastructure for Product and Skills Based Learning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define long-term goals and measurement strategies, and managing multiple projects to deliver business results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the holistic Assessment strategy and infrastructure for Product and Skills Based Learning.
  • Create and align on overall assessment roadmaps and project plans.
  • Help to clearly define and articulate how Mastery will use assessment data in 2025 and beyond.
  • Partner with cross-functional Mastery stakeholders and leaders to develop a Point of View (POV) on short and long term goals, assessment approach, measurement strategy and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, including expertise in Google spreadsheets and SQL.
  • Excellent business judgement and leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence executives and other stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or other advanced degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies to deliver business results.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and effectively manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
