As the Strategy Director and Chief of Staff for Carelon Research, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the President of Carelon Research and leading the strategic planning efforts for the team. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly in the realms of life sciences, government, and internal operations within Elevance Health. You will be responsible for ensuring that key initiatives and projects are executed effectively to meet the business commitments of the Carelon Research team, driving high-value analytics and delivering actionable insights to clients and partners across the healthcare sector. Your role will involve translating overarching strategies into specific tactics, prioritizing programs and projects, and establishing timelines to ensure alignment with enterprise strategic plans. You will work closely with line of business leads and matrixed partners to turn strategy into reality. Building and leveraging relationships will be crucial as you provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges, continuously assessing needs and proposing opportunities for improvement. In addition to strategic planning, you will develop and manage an effective internal communication strategy for the President, ensuring that communication aligns with the broader Carelon communication strategy. You will be responsible for communicating status updates, priorities, strategies, and success metrics to various stakeholders, including management and team members. Your ability to create and organize presentation materials for meetings at all organizational levels will be essential. Furthermore, you will foster a positive work culture for all associates, ensuring that the team remains engaged and motivated.
