The Strategy Director and Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in this mission by providing direct professional support to the President of Carelon Research. This position is crucial for leading comprehensive strategic planning for the Carelon Research team, ensuring that key initiatives and projects are executed effectively to meet business commitments. The Director will engage across multiple lines of business, driving high-value analytics and delivering actionable insights for clients and partners in the healthcare sector, including life sciences, government, and internal stakeholders within Elevance Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating overarching strategies into defined tactics, prioritizing programs and projects, and establishing timelines to ensure alignment with enterprise strategic plans. This role requires a deep understanding of all business aspects and collaboration with executive leadership to define future strategies and success criteria. The Director will build and leverage relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges, continuously assessing needs to propose opportunities for improvement. Additionally, the Director will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of business planning and project activities, while also managing an effective internal communication strategy for the President. This position is designed to foster a positive work culture for all associates and will operate in a hybrid work environment from any US corporate Elevance Health location.
