About the position
As a corporate and business strategy consultant at PwC, you will provide strategic guidance and insights to organizations, analyzing market trends and assessing business performance to help clients achieve their goals. This role involves working closely with clients to identify growth opportunities, optimize operations, and enhance overall business performance. You will leverage your expertise to deliver quality results, motivate and coach others, and solve complex problems while developing and sustaining high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze client needs and provide consulting services across different strategic areas.
- Develop and implement effective strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for growth and optimize operations for clients.
- Communicate clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story.
- Apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities.
- Validate outcomes with clients and act on their feedback.
- Direct teams through complexity and demonstrate composure in challenging situations.
- Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.
- Make difficult decisions to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy consulting or industry consulting.
- In-depth knowledge and proven record of success in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience in defining and evaluating corporate and business unit strategies.
- Ability to manage teams and multiple work streams to successful project conclusions.
- Strong analytical skills to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal formats to senior audiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Minimum of 8 years of strategy consulting experience preferred.
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to become a trusted advisor to c-suite clients.
- Experience in market research to understand consumer needs and behaviors.
