About the position

Tropicana Brands Group is seeking a highly qualified Strategy Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Bradenton, FL. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's goals and initiatives are met through effective management of productivity workstreams that unlock value growth within the supply chain. The Strategy Manager will be responsible for directing activities of global cross-functional teams, ensuring that program and project dependencies are identified and communicated effectively. This position requires a collaborative individual who can cultivate strong working relationships at all levels of the organization while ensuring productivity execution to meet EBITDA goals. The Strategy Manager will create program timelines and detailed project plans, assessing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource loading, dependencies, and milestones. This role involves developing and executing project financial business cases in partnership with the Finance team, collaborating with business teams on ROI measurements, and ensuring that benefits realization is compared to established baselines. The successful candidate will evaluate completion rates, supervise actuals to budget, and mitigate risks to business case value. Additionally, the Strategy Manager will ensure that risks and issues are surfaced and mitigated, escalating information and recommending issue resolution as appropriate. Compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, regulatory, and project-specific requirements is also a critical aspect of this role. The Strategy Manager will supervise external vendors and ensure that project teams comply with all relevant requirements, contributing to the overall success of Tropicana Brands Group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage productivity workstreams to unlock value growth within the supply chain.
  • Direct activities of global cross-functional teams and ensure program and project dependencies are identified and communicated.
  • Create program timelines and detailed project plans, assessing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource loading, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Develop and execute project financial business cases in partnership with Finance.
  • Collaborate with business teams on ROI measurements and benefits realization compared to baselines.
  • Evaluate completion rates, supervise actuals to budget, and mitigate risks to business case value.
  • Ensure risks/issues are surfaced and mitigated, escalating information and recommending issue resolution as appropriate.
  • Ensure project team compliance with organization policies, SOPs, regulatory and project specific requirements.
  • Supervise external vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain management and program or project management, preferably in the food and beverage industry (comparable to 5+ years).
  • Proficiency in the key principles of cross-functional program/project management (e.g., time, quality, cost).
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with formal organizational change processes and methods (Prosci or similar approach).
  • Strong financial acuity, specifically in supply chain COGS/cost accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Critical thinker with solid judgment and strong initiative.
  • Proven track record to lead and influence collaboration across multiple and diverse groups.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and be a creative and innovative problem solver.
  • Ability to delegate and effectively prioritize own and project team members' workload.
  • Ability to effectively use automated systems and computerized applications such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Power BI.
