About the position

The Strategy Manager at Caterpillar Inc. is responsible for developing and supporting strategic initiatives within the Earthmoving Division. This role involves direct interaction with leadership to execute the division's strategy, focusing on the design, manufacturing, and support of various construction products. The position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and effective communication to lead key initiatives and provide strategic insights.

Responsibilities

• Leads analyses and solution development for key initiatives as a divisional lead or for the business segment.
• Works closely with business partners to define the business problem, issues, and planned approach for engagements.
• Oversees performance of data collection, research, and reporting activities.
• Coaches junior team members and business partners.
• Provides recommended solutions and collaborates with senior consultants/managers to develop and deliver business insights.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of stakeholder management techniques and ability to engage with various stakeholders.
• Ability to apply strategic thinking and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
• Experience in consulting, including analyzing client requirements and managing consulting relationships.
• Knowledge of effective planning techniques for operational, tactical, and strategic planning.
