The professional will work within the highly strategic function of the Planning & Analytics team for Global Integrated Marketing (GIM) at Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is pivotal in identifying and evaluating strategic business opportunities, including new initiatives and partnerships. The individual will support cross-functional teams across AWS marketing to assess these opportunities and build a fact basis for decision-making. The position requires a strong analytical mindset to tackle ambiguous and complex problems, translating analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for the business. In this role, the professional will develop business requirements to assess the impact of AWS marketing across various channels, evaluating its effectiveness in creating a favorable selling environment and driving business growth. They will also evaluate new marketing opportunities by modeling performance, reflecting plausible scenarios, or illustrating the limits of tolerable risks. The professional will recommend strategies and tactics to streamline current business operations processes for operational efficiency. Collaboration is key, as the individual will partner with other analytics teams and finance to continually improve measurement methodologies, synthesizing multiple points of view into a simple, clear manner. Presenting findings and recommendations to the senior leadership team will also be a critical aspect of this role. The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies, believing that world-class support is critical to customer success. The GIM team delivers global, integrated marketing programs that include ads, sponsorships, brand partnerships, web, email, social media, events, and digital initiatives to drive brand awareness, preference, and adoption for AWS services. The GIM Planning and Analytics team works directly with GIM leadership to drive strategic initiatives and shape the overall long-range marketing strategy for the business.
