About the position

The Strategy & Planning Director - Technology Transformation Management Office (TMO) at PNC Financial Services Group is a leadership role focused on executing transformation initiatives that align with strategic goals. This position requires overseeing project execution, compliance with change methodologies, and ensuring organizational readiness. The director will work closely with senior leadership to formulate and implement strategic plans, monitor progress, and drive critical business discussions to identify strengths and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution leadership for transformation initiatives focusing on strategic alignment and cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee project and program execution, ensuring compliance with the Change Methodology Framework.
• Manage program governance and health reporting.
• Work closely with senior leadership to formulate and execute business strategic plans.
• Define, monitor, and use metrics to assess performance and improve business lines.
• Address and resolve breakdowns to support strategic initiatives.
• Drive critical business discussions to identify strengths and opportunities.
• Build and lead effective teams, providing management and development of employees.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• Experience in strategic planning and transformation for future state needs.
• Strong critical thinking and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the banking or financial industry, or large fortune 250 companies in regulated industries.
• Strong technical acumen and ability to influence and communicate effectively.
