About the position

The Strategy & Planning Director - Technology Transformation Management Office (TMO) at PNC is a leadership role focused on executing transformation initiatives that align with strategic goals. This position involves overseeing project and program execution, ensuring compliance with change methodologies, and managing program governance and health reporting. The director will work closely with senior leadership to formulate and implement strategic plans, monitor performance metrics, and drive critical business discussions to identify strengths and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide execution leadership for transformation initiatives focusing on strategic alignment and cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee project and program execution, ensuring compliance with the Change Methodology Framework Policy.
• Manage program governance and health reporting.
• Work closely with senior leadership to formulate and execute business strategic plans.
• Define, monitor, and use metrics to assess performance and improve business lines.
• Drive critical business discussions to identify strengths and opportunities.
• Build and lead effective teams, managing and developing employees.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry-relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• 5+ years of prior management experience with proven leadership in a large scope of responsibility.
• Strong technical acumen and critical thinking skills.
• High degree of stakeholder management and ability to work with competing demands.
• Experience in strategic planning and transformation for future state needs.
