About the position

Rigid Tactical is seeking a Senior Strategy, Plans, Exercises and Policy Support / Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support joint staff planning that integrates Department of Defense (DoD) military activities with United States Government (USG) strategy. The role involves developing strategies, campaign plans, and operational concepts to achieve strategic objectives in coordination with various DoD components, USG agencies, and international partners.

Responsibilities

• Providing expertise on Offensive and Defensive Cyber Operations during strategic and operational level planning and coordination.
• Participating as a member of USCENTCOM planning teams to integrate cyberspace operations into DoD full spectrum planning and operations, including OPLAN development.
• Coordinating Cyber plans, policy, and requirements with the Office of Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, USCYBERCOM, and other organizations to support USCENTCOM strategic and operational planning.
• Collaborating with the J3-Joint Cyber Center to develop command Cyber plans, policy, and capabilities requirements, integrating them into strategic and operational planning.
• Conducting Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations planning to support Cyberspace Operations, including Military Information Support Operations, Electronic Warfare, Deception, and Special Technical Operations.
• Supporting Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational planning for DoD plans and operations.

Requirements

• Certification in accordance with DoD Directive 857.01M at Level 1 or higher.
• Graduate of the Joint Information/Cyber Space Operations Planner Course.
• 3 years of cyber planning experience in a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters, National Security Agency, or United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM).
• Bachelor's degree.
