About the position
The Strength and Conditioning Coach position at Lincoln County High School is responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes. This role focuses on improving strength, speed, agility, and overall fitness levels while ensuring the safety and well-being of the athletes during training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
- Monitor and assess the physical development of athletes.
- Provide instruction on proper techniques for strength training and conditioning exercises.
- Ensure the safety of athletes during training sessions.
- Collaborate with coaches to align training programs with sport-specific needs.
Requirements
- Must hold a West Virginia Department of Education Coaching Authorization.
- Completion of the Coaching Effectiveness Program as provided by the WVSSAC.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Benefits
- Salary of $2500.00 per school year
