As a Stroke Program Manager at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the Stroke Program, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through the oversight and coordination of all systems related to acute stroke care delivery. Your responsibilities will include leading, monitoring, and evaluating the Stroke Program to achieve optimal outcomes based on current evidence-based standards of care. You will act as a liaison between physicians, clinical staff, and senior leadership, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned in their efforts to provide exceptional care to stroke patients. In this role, you will assist with the continued growth and development of the Stroke Program by operationalizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal and quality outcomes for stroke patients. You will coordinate care across the continuum by collaborating with various hospital departments, medical staff, and senior leadership. Your leadership will be crucial in attaining and sustaining exceptional patient experiences, which will involve providing consistent, positive interactions for the stroke population. You will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing patient experience data to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborating with community partners, you will work to ensure awareness of stroke signs and symptoms through education and health screening opportunities. Your role will require you to inspire commitment to the mission and values of the organization and the acute stroke program, while also developing and providing education to staff and physicians on evidence-based practice guidelines, assessment, treatments, and regulatory standards compliance for stroke care. Additionally, you will collaborate with department and administrative leadership to evaluate the educational needs of staff and implement plans to meet those needs related to the stroke program.
