STRONGSVILLE COMMUNITY THEATRE [SCT] is seeking a Community Theatre Manager to work in cooperation with the SCT Theatre Board of Directors. This part-time position, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, offers a flexible schedule that includes weekends during play productions and necessary meetings. The salary for this role ranges from $23,000 to $28,000, depending on qualifications. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of the community theater program and will play a key role in its ongoing success. The Community Theatre Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the strategic priorities and goals set by the SCT Board. This includes attending monthly board meetings to foster a supportive working relationship with board members, engaging in creative thinking and strategic planning to ensure the longevity of SCT, and providing leadership for fundraising efforts. The manager will also serve as a contact for SCT at community events, building relationships with local partners, and will be actively involved in all phases of play production, including recruitment and coordination of production staff and volunteers, box office management, and publication of play programs. Additionally, the manager will attend local Chamber meetings and support new and evolving SCT projects, taking on various assignments as directed by the Board of Directors.
