About the position

The Structural Analysis Engineer 4 position is a critical role within our engineering team, focusing on the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish robust system designs. This position is based in Berkeley, MO, and is 100% onsite, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and hands-on engagement with the engineering processes. The engineer will lead efforts to coordinate with various engineering groups to define the product's environment, ensuring that all structural aspects are thoroughly considered and integrated into the overall design framework. In this role, the engineer will guide product design and verify structural integrity through the application of analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other analysis tools. This comprehensive approach will be utilized throughout the product lifecycle to develop a clear understanding of the structural environment, characteristics, and performance metrics. The engineer will also be responsible for leading the development of test plans and configurations, supporting test execution, and analyzing and reporting test results to validate that systems and components meet established requirements and specifications. Additionally, the engineer will define and document certification and test results, providing substantiation for customers and regulatory agencies to demonstrate compliance with all necessary requirements. A key aspect of this role involves supporting in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing potential improvements. The engineer will also be tasked with developing analytical processes and tools aimed at enhancing the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development efforts, all while working under minimal direction.
