About the position

The Structural Analysis Engineer will lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design. This role involves coordinating with various engineering groups to define the product's environment and ensuring product design meets structural integrity through analytical methods and simulations. The engineer will also be responsible for developing test plans, supporting test execution, and analyzing results to validate that systems and components meet specified requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element models.
• Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze test results.
• Report on test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience using Nastran/Patran and other analysis tools.
• Experience with Client's Commercial Airplanes structural and fatigue requirements.
• Proficiency in tools such as CSW, IAS, CASTLE, and Excel/VBA.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field from an ABET accredited university.

Nice-to-haves

• Composite wing experience is preferred.
• MRB / stress liaison experience is a plus.
