• Perform routine calculations and evaluate feasibility of alternate solutions.
• Prepare assigned sections of reports under supervision.
• Review shop drawings for conformance with specifications.
• Assist in recordkeeping and generating progress reports.
• Observe construction procedures and collect samples for quality control testing.
• Research feasibility of alternative design approaches and site conditions.
• Prepare materials for reports and permit applications.
• Perform engineering calculations and field observations.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• EIT certification required.
• PE certification is a plus.
• DOT experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills.
