Responsibilities

• Design and analyze bridge structures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Perform load rating and inspection of existing bridges.
• Prepare complete design packages for assigned projects or elements.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Adhere to design budgets and schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize software tools such as Bridge Designer or Open Bridge Modular for design tasks.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior engineers as needed.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis or related field.
• 5 to 10+ years of bridge design, load rating, and inspection experience.
• Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) projects.
• Excellent communication and client relation skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and design.
• Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects.

Nice-to-haves

• PE License preferred, not required.
• SE License would be a huge plus.
• Experience with Bridge Designer or Open Bridge Modular.
