COWI is seeking a Structural/Civil Engineer specializing in bridges, tunnels, and marine structures to join our North American team in Portland. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both in-office and remote work. In this role, you will contribute to exciting infrastructure projects both regionally and globally, collaborating with a highly professional team that provides technical expertise, design leadership, project management, and specialized engineering knowledge. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for various projects. You will produce engineering calculations and designs that meet project requirements while adhering to the latest industry codes and standards. Additionally, you will prepare design deliverable documents and ensure quality control validation of detailed calculations, design drawings, and specifications. Frequent communication with the Project Director, Project Manager, design team, and BIM/CADD team will be essential to ensure project success.
