About the position

A leading engineering and construction firm is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their team. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for drafting construction and plant drawings using Revit and P3D in support of the engineering team and project managers. You will also develop permit packages that include egress plans, title sheets, and code study drawings. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing roles, particularly with steel and concrete in industrial applications. An Associate's degree or higher is preferred, and familiarity with REVIT is a must.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering team to create construction drawings for heavy industrial plant projects
• Handle permit packages with title sheets, code study drawings, and egress plans
• Projects will include industrial buildings, non-building structures, foundations, and support structures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design roles
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Familiarity with REVIT is required
• Experience with steel and concrete in industrial applications
• Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD
