About the position

The Structural Design Engineering Summer Internship at Fabcon Precast offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the precast concrete industry. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, providing valuable insights into safety, quality, project management, and operations. Responsibilities

• Gain experience in diverse areas such as Safety, Quality, Project Management, Plant and Field Operations.
• Provide feedback and pursue ideas that positively impact the organization.
• Collaborate with teams to understand processes and systems involved in designing, manufacturing, and installing precast concrete buildings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher in an undergraduate degree program relevant to the internship location.
• Positive and helpful attitude.
• Interest in manufacturing and construction business operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to visit plant, yard, and project sites.

• Prior experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or construction.
