Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated and talented Structural Design Engineers (Associate, Level 2) or (Experienced, Level 3) or (Senior, Level 4) to join the Air Dominance Engineering Teams in Hazelwood, MO. You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of current and evolutionary aircraft and weapons systems across various divisions, including: Air Dominance (Phantom Works, F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25A), Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers (777X), Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems (Harpoon, JDAM, SDB, SLAM-ER), and Boeing Global Services businesses. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced, and Senior Engineers. Position Responsibilities: Develops, integrates, and documents structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design. Develops, maintains, and modifies structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Performs, integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Manages supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals. Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort. Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. Works under general direction.
