About the position

The Structural Drafter/Project Manager position at a premier luxury residential design firm involves managing complex structural designs and client relationships for high-end custom projects. The role requires a strong architectural background, attention to detail, and a passion for structural wood frame design, aimed at bringing upscale residential visions to life in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex structural designs for luxury residential projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships throughout project lifecycles.
• Create detailed zoning, design, and construction documents for residential projects.
• Collaborate with team members in a project-based environment.
• Utilize AutoCAD 2025 and other engineering programs to produce high-quality drafts and models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of structural drafting and project management experience in residential design.
• Expertise in AutoCAD 2025 and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• In-depth knowledge of structural elements, including statics and strength of materials.
• Strong understanding of materials and methods related to residential construction.
• Proven experience in client relationship management.
• Ability to create detailed construction documents.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Rhino, 3D Modeling, Photoshop, or other engineering programs.
