About the position

Ficcadenti Waggoner and Castle Structural Engineers is seeking a Structural Design Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join their team in Concord, CA. Responsibilities

• Designing significant structures using concrete, steel, wood, masonry, timber, cold-formed steel, and fiber reinforced plastic.
• Developing designs using prefabricated construction.
• Interacting with clients.
• Conducting site inspections and interacting with contractors.
• Developing client relationships.

Requirements

• BS degree required; MS degree preferred.
• PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of software such as SAP, ETABS, RISA, Enercalc, Bluebeam and Revit are preferred.
• Be self-motivated.
• Be team oriented.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have ability to develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
