In this role, the Project Designer will assist in supervising the development of design concepts and reports for building and concrete projects. Responsibilities include preparing comprehensive engineering reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings for structural design, repair, and rehabilitation projects. The position also involves structural consulting and design for platforms, enclosures, scaffolds, and other temporary works related to bridge repair projects. The Project Designer will lead construction administration and oversight on designated projects, participate in key technical roles in local projects, and review design calculations and reports for compliance with applicable codes and standards. Additionally, the role requires providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff and performing site visits, which may involve working from heights.
