About the position

The Structural Engineer position focuses on the design and engineering of temporary structures utilized in the construction of mid to high-rise buildings. This role is essential in ensuring that all temporary structures, such as shoring, reshoring, falsework, formwork, crane foundations, crane tie-back connections, and temporary stability bracing, are designed to meet safety and structural integrity standards. The engineer will also be responsible for the structural engineering design related to construction procedures for mid-high rise building projects, ensuring that all designs comply with relevant codes and regulations. Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering design of temporary structures used in the construction and design of mid-high rise buildings.
• Design temporary structures including shoring, reshoring, falsework, formwork, crane foundations, crane tie-back connections, and temporary stability bracing.
• Conduct structural engineering design for construction procedures used in mid-high rise building projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus.
• 6+ years of engineering and design experience in structural engineering.
• Georgia PE or SE license is required or must be obtained within 4 months.
• Expertise in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and foundations for building civil projects.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or other drawing software.
• Willingness to travel as required.
