We are actively looking for a Structural Engineer (PE preferred) with an inspection and rehabilitation (I&R) and marine/waterfront background to join our Seattle or Federal Way, WA office. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates to support waterfront infrastructure development and rehabilitation work. You will help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigations or inspections, detailed design work, and checking design computations done by others. You will also perform analysis, design, and inspection of waterfront structures, asset management, submarine systems, and other maritime projects, working closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. This position requires a strong background in structural analysis and design with timber, steel, concrete, and composite materials, as well as the ability to perform structural site inspections and prepare inspection reports. The majority of work will be office-based, but some site visits may be required, necessitating navigation of unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
