About the position

The Structural Engineer position in Greenville involves overseeing and coordinating structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role requires a strong background in design and construction, particularly in seismic and wind analyses, as well as experience in modifying existing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction document reviews as required.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects during the planning, design, and construction phases.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications related to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
• Field experience in the inspection of construction projects.
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Engineer License (preferred but not required).
• Experience in nuclear engineering projects.
• Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications.
