The Structural Engineer, P.E., Senior- Forensics position at EFI Global involves investigating structural failures and providing expert opinions on complex engineering assignments. Responsibilities

• Determine the origin and cause of structural failures including roof damage, water intrusion, and post-fire damage.
• Conduct surveys of losses and loss scenes at residential and commercial buildings.
• Investigate and assess damages due to failures and document the scope of damage caused by acute events.
• Analyze and document failure analysis and causation of failures.
• Collaborate with other investigators to produce detailed reports outlining the cause and origin of losses and damages.
• Serve as an expert witness in court and/or in depositions.
• Document and maintain billable hours on a time and expense basis for failure analysis and forensic engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required for the resident state.
• Prefer multi-state licensing and/or active NCEES Record.
