About the position

The Structural Engineer | Project Manager at Schaefer is responsible for designing and detailing efficient structures that comply with codes and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Design and detail efficient structures that are code compliant, accurate, and of high quality.
• Act as the Project Manager or Project Engineer on multiple projects that vary in size and complexity.
• Develop strong client relationships and engage in business development practices to leverage those partnerships for ongoing project work.
• Manage project cost through effective planning and prioritization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, structural) from an accredited university; a master's degree focused in civil or structural engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience, demonstrating growth in project management experience and diverse projects.
• BIM (Revit) experience.
• Proven ability to manage successful project teams.
• Strong client relationship experience and the ability to manage complex projects.
• PE or SE license.
