In this role, you will conduct construction document reviews as required and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects. You will engage in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects, preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications related to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design. Experience in renovating or modifying existing facilities is essential, and familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. For the Senior Engineer position, a minimum of 10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction document preparation is required, along with a PE License preferred. For the Principal Engineer position, a minimum of 15 years of experience is required, along with a PE License preferred. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to work in a diverse environment and must be a U.S. Citizen. A satisfactory result from a pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screening, is mandatory. Knowledge of Federal (including DOE) and State codes applicable to engineering design is also necessary.
