About the position

The TAgency is looking for a licensed Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the structural integrity of commercial building projects across Florida. This mid-level position emphasizes strong expertise in structural analysis, adherence to building codes, and effective project management to deliver safe and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with Florida building codes and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure project success.
• Perform site inspections and evaluations of existing structures to assess condition and recommend repairs or modifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Florida.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
