About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, from conceptual design to completion, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems for various types of projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure. You will utilize software such as Revit, STAAD, and SAP2000 for the design and analysis of structural projects. Additionally, you will prepare and review engineering plans, designs, reports, and contract documents, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure a cohesive design. Your role will also involve performing inspections and assessments of existing structures to determine their condition and develop recommendations for repair, renovation, or demolition. You will provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers while working in compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Staying updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in structural engineering is also a key aspect of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the design, analysis and detailing of structural systems for various types of projects including commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure.
  • Utilize software such as Revit, STAAD, SAP2000 for the design and analysis of structural projects.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, reports and contract documents.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure a cohesive design.
  • Perform inspections and assessments of existing structures to determine their condition and develop recommendations for repair, renovation or demolition.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Proficiency in Revit, STAAD, SAP2000 or similar structural engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with clients.
  • High level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
