About the position

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing engineering projects related to large Senior Living facilities, Surgery Centers, and Multifamily High-rises, focusing on both new construction and renovation. The role requires ensuring the quality of engineering efforts while meeting client expectations within budget and schedule constraints. The engineer will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and lead site evaluations to assess existing structures.

Responsibilities

• Design appropriate structural systems within client budget and time limitations.
• Collaborate with a team of professional engineers and architects.
• Communicate effectively with all levels to provide high-quality structural engineering design solutions.
• Participate in project meetings during design and construction activities.
• Lead site visits to evaluate various facility types and assess existing structures.
• Manage projects through proper prioritization and scheduling of tasks.
• Work with the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) on healthcare design.

Requirements

• Florida Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in an AE environment in structural design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021, Autodesk Revit 2021, RISA 3D, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
