The Structural Engineer position is a critical role within our engineering team, focusing on the design and analysis of structures in the mining and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, specifically a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering, and will be expected to apply their knowledge to real-world projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and client-facing skills, as the engineer will be responsible for meeting with clients to discuss project requirements and deliverables. The position is structured as a 6-month contract, with the potential for transition into a direct hire role based on performance and project needs. In this role, the Structural Engineer will utilize advanced engineering software tools such as RAM, Risa, or STAAD to perform structural analysis and design. The candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned with client expectations and industry standards. The ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders is essential, as the engineer will be tasked with presenting findings and recommendations based on their analyses.
