The Structural Engineer I position at ADM in Decatur, IL is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to develop their professional engineering knowledge and abilities. The engineer will work under the guidance of the Structural Departmental Manager and will be expected to develop familiarity with engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs. In this role, the engineer will engage in a variety of projects, primarily focusing on the design and analysis of heavy, multi-story industrial buildings using structural steel. Responsibilities will include equipment and building foundation analysis and design, pipe bridge design, and equipment support design. The engineer will also be involved in the development of structural connection details, which can range from typical to complex. Additional tasks may include conducting structural inspections and repairs for concrete and steel structures, designing piles and drilled shafts, and performing storage tank design and corrosion investigations. This position is ideal for recent graduates with a BS degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis, or Agriculture & Architecture with a Structural Emphasis. Responsibilities

Requirements
