About the position
Aquawolf LLC. has immediate need for a structural engineer in Denver, CO to perform structural design of overhead power transmission line structures. Candidates must be proficient in general structural engineering practice and possess of 0-5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Learn the basics of structural engineering as it relates to transmission line engineering including but not limited to:
- Lattice Tower Design and Analysis
- Steel Pole Design and Analysis
- Foundation Design and Analysis
- Follow QA/QC protocol
- Follow sound project management practice
- Create necessary construction documents
- Create computer models on industry standard software
- Travel to client offices and job sites
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering
- EIT preferred
- 0-5 years of experience
- Basic civil and structural engineering knowledge
