About the position

RIZZO International, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis and design for various types of civil structures for our corporate Pittsburgh, PA office.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various civil structures.
• Conduct linear/non-linear structural analysis with static and dynamic systems.
• Design steel, reinforced concrete, and precast concrete structures including buildings, foundations, and industrial facilities.
• Utilize various structural software for analysis and design tasks.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years practical experience in structural analysis and design.
• Proficient with ANSYS, ducting design, and seismic analysis.
• E.I.T. required, PE License is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with seismic time history analysis and response spectrum analysis.
• Familiarity with design codes such as ACI 318, AISC 360, and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
• Experience with structural software like SAP2000, RISA 3D, and Revit Structures.
