About the position

We are seeking a Structural Engineer in Cincinnati, OH, to join our team focused on a high volume of residential and small commercial projects. The role involves managing client interactions, conducting site assessments, and drafting design documents, all while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Meet with multiple clients weekly at their residences to discuss structural concerns or proposed projects.
• Collect site information and clearly explain observations, scope, and solutions to clients in simple language.
• Draft written assessment reports or design documents for proposed foundation repairs, deck designs, retaining walls, additions, and interior framing modifications.
• Manage project workload and client expectations, ensuring timely communication and delivery.

Requirements

• P.E. license preferred; will consider EITs with exceptional communication and observational skills.
• Familiarity with concrete, structural steel, and wood design.
• Comfortable accessing crawl spaces and attic spaces.
• Possess a vehicle and driver's license for client meetings 2 to 3 days weekly.
