About the position

Pennoni Associates is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to lead projects and collaborate with others to achieve excellent results. The role involves working on a variety of project types and markets, including commercial, institutional, educational, public, and industrial facilities, focusing on new building design, renovations, adaptive reuse, and condition assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects and collaborate with team members.
• Perform structural analysis and design using various materials such as concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood, and cold form metal.
• Conduct investigations, site visits, and field work as necessary.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, condition assessment reports, and field reports.
• Supervise structural engineering efforts and ensure quality assurance and quality control of projects.
• Foster existing client relationships and develop new ones.

Requirements

• 4 to 12 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on new building design, renovations, adaptive reuse, and condition assessments.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel), RAM SS, RAM Elements or STADD, AutoCAD, and Revit.
