The role involves collaborating with licensed engineers, clients, and drafting teams to deliver high-quality structural designs for residential and commercial projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design foundational and framing structures for residential and commercial buildings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate structural foundation and framing plans in BricsCAD for residential and commercial projects, maintaining high standards of precision and quality.
• Partner closely with engineers, clients, and drafting teams to gather project information and ensure designs are complete and accurate.
• Provide support and work both independently and as part of a team under the direction of engineers and project managers to meet project goals.

Requirements

• Strong skills in AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and related programs, with the ability to perform basic design calculations.
• Prior civil and structural engineering experience in a residential environment, working with custom home builders, wood framing, and concrete.
• Must hold an EIT (Engineer in Training) certification.
• Ability to work independently as well as with various teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
