Responsibilities

• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain construction projects
• Prepare structural drawings using conventional drafting techniques
• Read and utilize construction documents and contracts
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide technical advice and resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies creatively
• Monitor progress and compile reports of project status
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc.
• Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Experience in managing and training an architectural & engineering team
• Experience in maintaining budgets and costs
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to hire and staff teams
• High attention to detail
• Self-starter with a passion for excellence
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
