About the position

Actalent is seeking a Structural Engineer at all levels to perform structural design duties, either as stand-alone projects or as a project lead on multi-disciplined projects. This role is focused on design engineering for a mid-size consulting firm, primarily serving heavy industrial clients. The position will begin with heavy design work and progress into more engineering and project management responsibilities, particularly on retrofit projects within existing industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design duties as stand-alone projects or as a project lead on multi-disciplined projects.
• Engage in heavy design work and progress into engineering and project management roles.
• Work on retrofit projects within existing industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Civil/Structural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited undergraduate program.
• Knowledge of basic civil and structural material specifications for material purchase, fabrication, and construction.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Results-oriented and a team player with a commitment to quality.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CAD, Advance Steel, RISA 3D.
