Responsibilities

• Serve as lead engineer/designer on projects
• Act as the client contact for your projects
• Perform field assessments and structural surveys
• Analyze external forces on buildings and other structures
• Design building and non-building structures
• Solve unique construction engineering challenges
• Prepare and document technical reports
• Produce accurate construction documents
• Prepare calculation packages and finite element models
• Create Structural Drawings in Revit
• Perform construction administration, including Shop Drawing Reviews, RFI responses, and field visits
• Review inspection and testing reports
• Conduct research and prepare internal presentations
• Attend technical seminars
• Contribute positively to company culture and design methodologies
• Mentor junior staff and manage junior designers on projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil/architectural/structural engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design and engineering
• PE/SE License preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Desire to mentor junior staff
• Knowledge of engineering, architectural, and construction principles
• Proficiency in Excel, Revit, and relevant design software
• Experience with Revit preferred, including modeling, detailing, and drawing preparation
