About the position

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their experienced structural engineering team in Greenwood Village, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or Frisco, TX. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and expansion of service markets in the western region of the US, focusing primarily on Colorado, Texas, Arizona, and surrounding states. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and committed to providing customer-oriented professional services while excelling in technical building design and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and coordinate with the project team
• Participate in business development and client-facing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (required)
• 5-8 years of structural engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry, and/or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Leadership qualities with the ability to teach/train others
• Revit proficiency preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
• Experience with renovation of existing structures
