About the position
The Summer 2025 Structural Engineering Internship at KPFF offers students a hands-on learning experience in structural engineering. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers on real projects, gaining practical insights into the design and construction processes. This role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and professional development, providing interns with the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while building valuable industry connections.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with seasoned engineers on actual projects during all phases of design and construction.
- Conduct structural analysis, simulations, and calculations using software such as Revit, RAM, and RISA.
- Utilize Revit to create drawings and specifications.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to gain practical insights into construction processes.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance project efficiency and integrity.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a focus in structural from an accredited college or university.
- Desire to learn about the daily responsibilities of a Structural Engineer.
- Valid US Driver's License and reliable transportation.
